Olivia Rose grew up on a farm in Central NSW and has spent time in several towns and cities during her studies and work life. She now lives with her husband and daughters in the New England highlands district.

During a road trip with family and friends, stories of earlier travel through the district being visited inspired her to try her hand at writing a story of her own in her favourite genre. She credits her husband for encouraging and supporting her to undertake this activity, drawing on a variety of memories and told stories to craft a romance set in locations she asociates with her youth. After completing her first book, she decided to see if she could do it all again. She is now up to book four and the characters are begging for their own stories.
