Kangaroo - Images Through the Ages
Author(s): Ronald M. Younger
Fauna | Non Fiction | Flora and Fauna
This book is a magnificent and most unusual book. Through pictures old and new, from all over Australia and around the world, it traces the development of kangaroo imagery from the earliest Aboriginal paintings to the first, rather tentative, European paintings of this 'anomalous' animal, through its evolution as a national symbol to use in cartoons, coins, stamps, advertising, etc.
The book is in very good condition. The dustjacket has scuff marks and chips at the edges. See our photo
